Tier list controls for mobile and keyboard
Use tier list controls without dragging: select a tile, place it in a row, reorder it, and navigate the editor with a keyboard.
Touch controls
Tap a tile to select it, then tap Place here in a tier. This works without dragging and is useful on a phone where dragging can conflict with page scrolling. The tile remains selected after placement, so you can move it again. Tap it once more to clear selection.
Keyboard controls
- Tab to a tile and activate it with Enter or Space.
- Tab to a row’s Place here button to assign the selected tile.
- With focus on an editor button, use Move left or Move right, or the left and right arrow keys, to reorder a selected tile.
- Use Return to unranked to move it back to the pool.
- Press Escape with focus on an editor button to clear selection. In a text input, Escape leaves the selection unchanged.
Each tile’s accessible name includes its label and current tier. A selection outline appears in addition to the color of the row. The canvas used for PNG export is separate from these ordinary interactive controls.
Order within a row
Left and right movement applies within the current row, including the unranked pool. At the beginning or end, a move in the blocked direction has no effect. Dragging to a row appends the tile there; use the reorder controls afterwards to refine its position.
Avoid accidental edits
Arrow keys inside an input edit its text rather than moving a tile. Remove tile deletes that item from the current saved board, with no one-step undo. Export a backup before a large edit. Reset board and Import backup ask for confirmation because they replace the current board.
